I moved to Dubai in December 2012 and my office has always been in DIFC. I could say I have been a client of Cafe Belge since my early days in town. I loved the place until last week. In December January 2023 there was a suspension of the 30% tax on alcohol by the Government of Dubai, cancellation that was never transferred to the clients of the venue. We kept paying the same price for our drinks. Yes I know that well, it was never transferred. I was there. And last week, a nice lunch with my colleagues our beer pints were charged at aed74 each, a whopping euro 19.3 or usd 20.15 for one pint of beer, I could not believe it. After requesting the waiter and eventually the manager the reason is that the Government of Dubai has increased tax 30% to which I asked if they were working there when the suspension of the tax was not transferred to the clients. "No sorry Sir, I was not here". Well, I was, and I take this as a robbery with no shame to insult the client's intelligence. See you never again Cafe Belge, lie and rob to somebody else.

I had my business lunch in Cafe Belge few week ago and I had to say I have been impressed on all over the experience, Chef Salvatore Barcellona greeted me as soon as i sat down at my table with his smile and cordiality, the food is amazing we particularly enjoyed the Baked anellini Siciliani I think only in cafe Belge we can find I all UAE neverfind in all restaurants in uae 🇦🇪The pizza was super good crispy and light ,for the dessert I try the Baba Napoletano very deliciousthe staff is professionalso i had a very pleasant lunch experience, well done Chef Salvatore from now on you will be our preferred Chef in the Town.Thank you and definitely se you soon and frequently
The food here is always incredible - a top notch is the fish and chips and the grilled octopus. The beer selection is wide and their cocktails are incredible.The atmosphere is generally always nice and chill. Easy way to spend a nice Sunday afternoon.
I absolutely love this restaurant! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The food is not only excellent in quality but also served in generous portions, ensuring you leave with a very satisfied and happy tummy. Every dish we tried was delicious, clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of care. One of the standout features of this place is the amazing terrace. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy your meal, even during the summer, as it offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with a nice breeze. The terrace really adds an extra charm to the dining experience. The staff are incredibly hospitable and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Their friendly service combined with the great food and lovely setting makes this restaurant a true gem. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!
